20 rural municipalities from 6 different EU countries (Spain, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom Italy and Slovakia) will participate in the project. During a period of 2 years, that will develop a wide range of activities of citizen participation at local and international levels in order to lay down the foundations of the European Rural Network for Job Mobility. Through those actions, a diagnosis of the situation and needs will be established — regarding European job mobility in the project participating communities. Local, national and European good practices will be identified and will be transferred to the network; then some action lines, activities and tools will be developed to be promoted, in order to improve the support services for the positive integration of people involved in a mobility process but also to foster the coexistence in diversity of the participating communities. Finally, in order to ensure the continuity of the network beyond the project lifetime, a transferability and sustainability plan will be elaborated.
This plan will also include guidelines on how to identify, transfer and formalize new collaboration agreements with other European rural municipalities, and will articulate a common framework for collaboration that ensures the correct implementation of the ERN4mob actions and initiatives in the future by the project partner entities.
