- ERN4mob (European Rural Network for Job Mobility)
2nd International Encounter in Poland on mobility in rural Europe. Needs and challenges
Participation: There were 87 participants among which there were 3 from Italy, 4 from Spain, 3 from Slovakia, 4 from Portugal, 70 from Poland and 3 from Ukraine.
Location/ Dates: The 2nd International Encounter of the project ERN4mob took place in "Kostrzyn nad Odrą (Poland) from the 14th – 18th of May, 2016.
Short description: The meeting was dedicated to the dissemination of the project objectives and activities among the main stakeholders and target citizens from Poland but also sharing mobility experience in Europe by representatives of entities related to mobility in partner countries and people of different nationalities considering their policies (rights and obligations), labor market in the EU, opportunities, tools for job search and resources with simultaneous identification of needs that could be covered by the European rural network (perspective: sending and hosting countries), practical aspects of mobility in the EU and youth mobility for work and education reasons.
During the meeting there was also time for intercultural activities of a ludic character and related to the cultures and traditions of the Polish partner concerning folk music, dances, food but also intercultural nights- all factors helping to achieve a greater interaction, understanding and cohesion resulting in better analysis of project activities, budget and future decisions on organizational aspects for the next international encounters development with its next steps.
The project meeting resulted in conclusions for the future, press releases and dissemination material with mostly important counterpart: the study of necessities on EU mobility in rural communities.
